This sweet mama, Andrea, has been a long time client of mine! I have photographed her from her engagements, wedding, maternity, and now a mommy and me session. So I’ll take you along as we talk about the magic of mommy and me photo sessions and offer tips for creating beautiful and meaningful memories that will last a lifetime.

Since Andrea came from out of town (and it was February in Idaho) we opted for a nearby studio! Which allowed for a ton of beautiful natural light and fun shadows that we got to work with.
Coordinating Outfits
Coordinate outfits with your child to create a cohesive and visually appealing look for the photo session. Opt for complementary colors and styles that reflect your personalities and the mood you want to convey in the photographs. Avoid overly busy patterns or logos that may distract from the connection between you and your child.

Biggest tip – literally just play and love on that babe and pretend i’m not even there!

Avoid scheduling it too close to meal times or nap times, as hungry or tired children may be less cooperative during the session. A relaxed and happy child will lead to more natural and joyful photographs.
