“Finally, I will always let you believe you are better at parallel parking…”
Jenn and Eric’s summer 2021 nuptials blew me – and their guests – away! These two California natives brought their bohemian Idaho mountain wedding to life. The June wedding was a perfect blend of Anthropology-meets-Southwestern mystique with a dash of Scottish bagpipes. Yes, you read that correctly – bagpipes! What a perfect way to lead wedding guests from the ceremony to the reception!
But the creativity didn’t stop there. One of my favorite venues of all time, Sixty Chapel, was transformed by Jenn and Eric’s artistic vision. From vintage peacock chairs to the groom’s turquoise collar tie and the bride’s golden crown, the details at their wedding were endless. Oh, and did I mention how Jenn and Eric even custom-built their ceremony arches? Amazing.
But beyond their artistic talents, Jenn and Eric are just two amazing, down-to-earth people. Every so often, I meet a bride and groom that go beyond getting to know me just as a photographer. They get to know me as a human. That was Jenn and Eric. From the beginning, these two made me feel like a friend. And as a result, our client-photographer chemistry produced pure magic during portraits. Of course, Banjo, their adorable fur baby, also made a special appearance during this time as well.
However, I was not the only lucky one who connected with the couple. The guests boasted of how they too had been impacted by Jenn and Eric’s warmhearted nature. Jenn’s brother gave one of the best toasts that had the entire guest list in tears as he described his incredible sister.
